This image is a digital painting by Anthony Macbain as promotional art for the game Grand Theft Auto IV entitled “Jacob with Spliff.” It shows an African-American man reclining on a couch. The state that the room is in suggests that he is lazy. Empty and half empty bottles on the table and floor, fast food rubbish, and wallpaper starting to peel. The way he is dressed and the gun lying on the floor suggest that he has money which contrasts with the state of his home. His general demeanour in the image and his facial expression suggest that what he is smoking is a form of drug, which is confirmed by the title.

Jackson Pollock [GALAXY] .ESSAY
Jackson Pollock , famous American artist who paints in a very abstract style , this art piece is a beautiful painting that catches the eye with its bright vibrant colours that soar across the canvas like splashing shooting stars .Pollock worked from all sides of this art piece, pouring and throwing paint to create a form of galaxy over and over again without generating a positive and negative form. As jackson Pollock once said "there are no accidents , no beginning or end to my paintings." The splashing ,pouring and flicking .etc. are placed to the canvas exactly how he wants it depending on the way he feels emotionally and physically . I think his art pieces tells a endless story emotionally .
